MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. He released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. He then was a part of Ozuna for their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He collaborated with Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and next year, released his sophomore album the charting Dopamina. Then in 2021 he sang a duet on the TINI streaming hit track Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was born into a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father are musicians. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. In his early years, he learned to play the saxophone and the ukulele, and piano. Although he initially wanted to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that taking lessons with an Cuban music teacher could change the direction of his profession.
