Rosalia

Rosalia Vila is also referred to as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish singer from flamenco. From her teens, she has been at the edges of both traditional and popular music. Additionally, she plays with genres like hip-hop soul and trap. Her voice is said by no less a talent than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, however with a bit of bite similar to the old ones. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. It earned it the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. In 2021, the song La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami came out as her third full-length album. It featured collaborations on songwriting with other artists and producers, including Cory Henry. In March 2022 the set was released following the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the very first Spanish artist to appear in a solo performance on the show. Motomami was the only female in history to be the winner of the Latin Album of the Year twice, and also the three Latin Grammy Awards.
